How do we contact you?
To request a quote fill in our enquiry form or you can contact us by Email: cabellesq@hotmail.com or by phone on 0416 044 208 or 07 3890 0854.
How do we go about booking the Quartet?
Fill in our booking form and then provide a small deposit to confirm your booking.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cheques and money orders made payable to “Trica Reck” or cash.
We’ve emailed you today – when will we find out an answer or confirmation from you about our function?
We will endeavor to answer your enquiry within 7 working days. Please ensure you provide us with the location and time of your event by filling in the enquiy form so that we can give you an accurate quote.
What kinds of things should we provide?
The things that we need (unless we have arranged otherwise) are:
- 4 chairs with no arms, that we can sit and play on for extended periods of time.
- Adequate lighting – so we are able to read our music.
- Shade if playing outside – and a glass of cold water would be appreciated.
Do we do outdoor gigs/functions/weddings?
As long as we have enough light to read our music and it is not raining (this includes very light rain) we will play. If it is raining even just lightly we WILL NOT PLAY as it will ruin our instruments.
What do your normally wear for performances?
We usually wear all black though for very formal occasions dinner suits and formal black will be worn.
Can we make a special request for a certain piece?
Yes you can, as long as we can find or make an arrangement of that piece for String Quartet, if it wasn’t originally written for String Quartet (violins, viola, cello). This may not always be possible due to music availability and suitability of arranging the piece for string instruments.
Can you play as a smaller group – a trio or duet or solo?
We prefer to play as a quartet, but if your occasion is very intimate we will perform as a trio which may be more suitable.
Do you play “special occasion” pieces, such as “Happy Birthday” or Christmas Carols?
Yes indeed we do! If you would like us to play any of these well known pieces for your function, please let us know ahead of time so that we can have them ready to play at your function.
Do you have a demo CD or a sample of your work?
Yes, we have a demo CD that is available on request.
Can you provide suggestions for Ceremony music?
We have a list of pieces which work well for different parts of the ceremony we can send you this if you are unsure about what music would be suitable.
